National Projects Manager
Mark joined Australasian Retail Projects in June 2003 in the capacity of Senior Project Manager, after 6 years of retail project management and site experience with large organisations including Trollope Silverwood & Beck, Bovis Lend Lease & Baulderstone Hornibrook. During this period, Mark has worked closely on various retail rollout programs for some of Australia's largest companies including Mayne, TAB NSW and Telstra. Mark's current portfolio of national retail clients includes Kleins, Nissan and Sunglass Hut International.
Lisa Forsythe, Masters - Project Management (RMIT)
Senior Project Manager (VIC)
Lisa comes to Australasian Retail Projects with 11 years experience in retail store development. Her career commenced in 1999 working for a shopfitting supplier to retailers and industry. After 3 years successfully running the WA arm of the Oswald Sealy Mei & Picchi business, Lisa then moved to ASI for two years. She then moved to Cotton On as their National Store Development Manager and from their stayed in the fashion industry when she moved to Sussan for 4 years.
Lisa joined Australasian Retail Projects in January 2009 and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Ivan Hand
State Manager (QLD)
After finishing his apprenticeship with Lowes Joinery in 1989 Ivan went on to subcontract to various shopfitting companies until 1991 when he moved into the area of high rise construction as a site leading hand with Raptis Construction. Ivan joined Australasian Retail Projects in 1993 where he took on the role of site supervisor.
In 2000 Ivan was appointed to the position of state manager for the New South Wales division and in 2005 moved to Queensland as the Queensland and Western Australia operations manager.
Brett Lucy, B. Building
Senior Project Manager
In 1998 Brett joined Trollope Silverwood & Beck as a Project Co-ordinator for the Telstra National Signage & Display programme and national branding upgrades for the Mayne Group. With a move to Sydney in late 2001 for the TAB NSW refurbishment rollout, Brett was a key team member as a Senior Project Coordinator, responsible for the delivery of 60 sites including tendering, contact negotiations, logistics and developing quality assurance procedures.
In 2002 Brett returned to Melbourne and worked in the role of project management & contract administration on a number of small to medium hospitality projects including the Carousel at Albert Park. In 2005, Brett was appointed to the position of Operations Manager and developed systems for the management & administration of the company & its projects.
In late 2006, Brett joined ARP as part of the project management team with a focus on relationship management of ARP clients, including Specsavers, Novo, Westco & Brown Sugar.
Metin Guzel, B.Eng in Bldg (Hon)
Senior Project Manager
Metin joined Australasian in Dec 2007 with an extensive background in construction and project management with 16 years experience in shop fitting / retail fitout, commercial and retail construction. He has just completed 6 years with an Architectural firm as a business manager focusing on achieving budgets, customer services, staff development and design with the added role of project managing major construction projects. Prior to this he has worked with a project management firm dealing with predominately commercial construction. Metin brings to ARP a professional approach with a strong background in communication, customer service and project planning.
Leigh Fotheringham, Dip. Bldg
Project Manager
Leigh joined Australasian in January of 2005 after completing a diploma in building at VUT. Prior to joining Australasian, Leigh was employed as a cadet project manger with AJL Building & Maintenance, primarily responsible for running high volume minor works programs for the Victorian Government.
Recently, Leigh was promoted to the position of Project Manager after 2 years as a Project Coordinator. Leigh is now responsible for the account management and operation of some of Australasian's larger national clients including Adairs, Forever New, Glassons, Kleins and NIB.
